Meet our Founder - Elyse
Hi! I’m Elyse Metz—the founder of #StrongLove. I’m a pageant queen, international model, competitive swimmer, and student of Mixed Martial Arts. But more than any title or trophy, I’m someone who believes deeply in the power of kindness, connection, and community.
As a bilingual student, I’ve learned how language can both connect and divide us—and that inspired my love for cultures, people, and stories that are different from my own. I’ve traveled the world through modeling and competed at the highest levels, but some of my proudest moments come from volunteering right here in my community. Whether it’s serving families at local food banks, delivering care kits, or leading a laundry outreach project, I’ve always believed in using my platform to make a difference.
#StrongLove was born from a simple idea: that we are stronger together, and that showing up for others—especially those who feel unseen—can change everything. Through this initiative, I hope to inspire others to lead with heart, celebrate diversity, and turn compassion into action.
Our history
#StrongLove began with a simple tradition rooted in something my family has always believed: "Pretty is as pretty does." Each year on my birthday, instead of asking for gifts, I choose a local organization—like our animal shelter—and ask for donations to help others. What started as a personal gesture has grown into a movement to inspire change through compassion, connection, and community service.
#StrongLove is now a volunteer-driven initiative that connects people with causes in need—whether it's delivering care packages, supporting local events, or using bilingual skills to bridge language gaps. Every act, big or small, is an opportunity to lift someone up and remind them that they matter.
At its heart, #StrongLove is about more than giving back—it's about listening, learning, and making sure everyone feels seen, included, and valued. In a world that can feel divided, this mission is a reminder that kindness is powerful and community is everything.
Through #StrongLove, I hope to encourage others—especially young people—to dream more, do more, and love louder. Because when we lead with heart, we become stronger together.
